 Installing an Ice-World ice rink usually only takes a couple of hours and, thanks to patented technology, Ice-World can set up a complete ice rink quickly. Set up today and skate tomorrow.
During the assembling process, a number of fold-out elements with rapid-action couplings are joined together in a straightforward manner. As part of the set-up procedure, the boarding around the ice rink is frozen directly into the ice, which means less work for the crew. All of the pipes are frozen into the ice, so you do not have to worry about protecting them from vandalism.
Once the ice rink equipment has been completely installed, the entire rink is filled with seven centimetres of water in one go. The freezing equipment is switched on, and the ice rink can be opened to skaters 12 to 24 hours later. Fast and with much lower energy consumption than an EPDM ice rink, where the ice has to be built up layer by layer and water has to be sprayed for 36 hours.
Placing and folding out the ice floor is extremely easy and Ice-World always supplies one or two experienced ice masters to help with the installation and dismantlement of the ice rink. The renter is, however, asked to provide volunteers who can spare a few hours to help get the installation ready.
