You're "in" for a mobile skating rink, your municipal colour is magenta, and so the question is whether the ice can be made in the municipal colour. The metropolitan district of the City of Salford (within which Swinton falls) came knocking on our door with this request.
How was this ice colouring done? It was actually quite simple. The first layer of ice was painted magenta. A second layer of ice on top and, presto, a month of skating was guaranteed. On magenta coloured ice.
