Olympic size ice rink in Greece

ATHENS, MAY 20, 2009 - The Hellenic Ice Sports Federation (HISF) with the support of the Hellenic Ministry of Culture, Ministry of Sports and Olympic Properties has transformed the former 6,000-seat Judo and Wrestling Hall, in Ano Liossia, into an Olympic-size ice skating rink.

The project - installed in just a few days, by ONICE.gr (www.onice.gr), official dealer of Ice-World International in Greece and Cyprus -- was undertaken and completed to host this year's National Ice Hockey & Figure Skating Championships. "I'm truly impressed by the quality of ice," said Adam Sollitt, Project Coordinator, Research & Audit, International Ice Hockey Federation, who attended the first game of competition.
