FunSlide from Ice-World in Belgium FunTrack from Ice-World in the Netherlands

The Ice-World ice rinks grace many city and town squares as a temporary attraction in the winter season. But the Ice-World ice rink system has more to offer such as an ice hockey rink, a FunSlide or FunTrack.
The FunSlide - a slide with real ice or snow - was placed in Genk right in the centre of Genk in Belgium. The concept is ideal because the same cooling technique used for the ice rink can be connected to the FunSlide. This ensures that the slide is always kept cool and thus will not disappoint thrill-seekers, even at temperatures above zero.
In order to lend extra weight to the festive opening of this indoor rink, our customer chose the Ice-World FunTrack, an ice track 100 metres long and two metres wide.
Herman Groenheide, director of Willemsoord, is proud of it.
"Such an outdoor track is unique. By opening the sliding doors of the building you can skate from inside to out, do a circuit, and end up back at the indoor rink."
