On further reflection, a rink measuring 30 x 10 metres is too small. It should be at least 30 x 20 metres; a 100% increase is preferable. The extra cost for rental and energy is relatively small, only 20%, which in this case amounts to around 15,000 more on the budget. That can’t be done without the efforts of volunteers belonging to a skating club. Daytime activities, in the quiet hours, for young people are possible thanks to a skating club.
