Amsterdam ArenaA large municipal institution of the capital wanted to realise Incentive Holland’s WinterVillage event concept for its staff in the Amsterdam ArenA. The central point of a WinterVillage is a real ice rink. Because we already have a number of years of experience with running ice rinks we knew the familiar EPDM ice rinks. We were informed by the technical event department of the ArenA that they had very negative experiences in the past with rubber ice rinks from a Belgian supplier. Our experiences with rubber ice rinks were also equally disappointing. Some research led us to contact Ice-World.
Ice-World recommended we try the new, fold-out aluminium ice rink for this spectacular event. The quality of this rink was astounding. The simple and quick assembly process from unpacking to skating-ready takes only 15 hours and the quality of the ice is exceptionally good. Ice-World’s aluminium ice rink is a fantastic alternative for the rubber ice rinks, which are certainly not suitable for use at important events. Our customers are also extremely positive about the aluminium rink. We even use the specifications of Ice-World’s ice rink as a USP in the sales route.
This year Incentive Holland WinterVillage is also organising an event in the Nieuwegein’s Business Centre for the third consecutive year. In the first year we chose a rubber ice rink. Despite the success of this first edition we would never again choose this type of rink. It was a real disaster! The coolant leaked all over the floor and at the height of the event the ice rink was constantly flooded with water. If we had only listened to Ice-World earlier. We heard so many great-sounding stories about rubber ice rinks from various ice rink suppliers that, in retrospect, we opted for a false start in ice rinks.
I can truly recommend Ice-World. An ice rink from Ice-World guarantees a magnificent event - without wet feet.
