Rabobank Texel decided to offer all the inhabitants of Texel a skating rink as a gift to mark the 100th anniversary of Rabobank Texel. It was the start of a fantastic adventure. Through Den Helder, which has been setting up skating rinks for several years now, we made contact with Ice-World. For us, it was all new. Without Ice-World’s experience, things would have been far more difficult. It was a perfect celebration with an unbelievable participation from the entire population of Texel. The rink was a meeting point for young and old from early morning to late evening. Ice-World provided excellent guidance, perfect organisation and most importantly smooth operations. We are now discussing the possibility with several local parties of installing another rink next winter, and Ice-World would be our organisation of choice.
