Indoor ice rinks can be just as good if the space is available. This rink was built in London's Westfiel Shopping Centre. Christmas indoor rinks are a great addition to any destination at any time of the year, especially when an outdoor rink may not be viable. But, why not consider having an ice rink outside of the traditional Christmas period to celebrate the New Year of as an Easter treat?
In this particular project the client of Ice-World dealer Stage Electrics sited the chiller plant sevral floors below ground in an underground car park, another example of how we can site your rink almost anywhere. |

'House of hockey' in New Zealand

 Douglas Webber Events Ltd hosted invitational teams USA & Canada in a 3 game series throughout New Zealand,
beginning in Auckland's Vector Arena 23rd July 2011(watch the ice hockey game ), second game in CBS Canterbury Arena on 30th July and the finale in Dunedin Ice Stadium 3rd August 2011.
A fully portable NHL spec ice rink was imported from Ice-World International in Holland, to be assembled in New
Zealand's largest concert venues in order for the games to be played to audiences of up to 10,000 spectators.

Skating fun at London Eye

 When top entertainment company Merlin decided to build an ice-rink at its world famous London Eye, it turned to leading entertainment technology suppliers and mobile ice-rink experts, Ice-World dealer Stage Electrics. Now the UK's largest mobile ice-rink supplier, with rinks in regular use in many locations up and down the UK and in Ireland.
Stage Electrics provided a qualified Health and Safety project manager to oversee the design and build of the rink and barriers. Their project manager worked very closely with the local authority to ensure the smoothest possible build, and equally importantly, a smooth load out. The council was very pleased, which is rather important to the consideration of installing a rink here again next year. |
Ice track in the Netherlands

 In Enschede, the Netherlands an ice track is built of 168 metres long and 2 metres wide around a church. This ice track is also connected to a seasonal ice rink of 375 m2.The media is spending a lot of publicity on this special ice rink event which attracts a lot of visitors.

First ice rink for Bahrein

 This is quite something...skating in the Gulf region is now possible thanks to the technology of the Ice-World ice floor. Our client Ony Productions installed an ice rink of 230 square metres in a shopping mall in Bahrein. The ice rink which already attracts a lot of people will be open from September until medio November 2010. Joanie Charonn a well known skating artist has had a wonderful perfomance on the skating rink and her show was a enormous crowd puller. The Bahrein people are delighted that they can visit such a cool attraction in their warm country. |
