The Netherlands leads the way in the field of mobile skating rink development. The rapidly growing company Ice-World has a patent on the mobile “quick-build rink” which can be assembled within two hours. The main difference from the old ice rink is that the rubber ice mats have been replaced by aluminium pipes. The aluminium ice rink system means it is now possible to skate at temperatures of up to +25°C instead of +15°C. More (Dutch)
