The development of the new aluminium ice base is the result of the weaknesses of the old EPDM system. The lengthy assembly time and many problems with leaks are now things of the past. The portable rink takes no more than a couple of hours to assemble and there is no more loss of coolant. Because of this and the energy efficiency of the system the ice rink is also much more environmentally friendly. More (Dutch)
