There are few sights more incongruous than an ice rink smack in the middle of one of the world's most famous beaches.
But in Australia a 900 sq-metre Ice-World rink has been built on Bondi's famous sands as part of the area's winter festival, and is believed one of the first ice skating venue on a beach anywhere in the world. Of course this can only happen with an ice rink from Ice-Word, for even at high temperatures the ice rink stays cool and icy. Read more about this event in The Guardian newspaper |
