The price of an ice rink depends on a variety of factors, such as rink size and rental period. Ice rink rental accounts for only a small part of the overall budget for a skating event.
The remainder is spent on items such as clothing, advertising, personnel, energy, insurance, tent and flooring.
To give you an indication: the overall budget for a 3-week skating event, using a 450 m2 ice rink, is about hundred thousand euros. You should bear in mind that much of this can be funded through sponsoring and entry fees, skate rental and catering revenues.
